Team News – Welcomes, Goodbyes, and Darts

As we roll into the autumn months and the days start drawing in (faster than feels reasonable!), it’s a good time to share a few team updates from behind the scenes.

New Faces

We’re delighted to welcome two new members to the team:

• We have another Louise, in the team! Louise Hebson  joined us in the summer to provide administration support. Louise brings a wealth of experience from many years in financial services, and she’s already made a positive impact with her calm efficiency and dry sense of humour – always a winning combination in our office.
• Clare joined us last month and is working closely with Josie on the technical side of things. Like Louise H, she’s been in financial services for many years, and it’s great to have her on board.

Farewell

We’ve also said a fond farewell to Georgia, who’s been off on maternity leave for the past year. After eight years with the team, she’s decided to take a new path, and while we’ll miss her, we wish her and her growing family all the very best. She’s made a huge contribution over the years, and her presence won’t be forgotten.

A Night Out (at last)

In early October, we managed to drag ourselves away from spreadsheets and strategy meetings for our first proper social evening in far too long. We headed to Flight Club in Cardiff for a few rounds of social darts. No major injuries were reported, and while some of us discovered untapped talents, must of us were reminded why we’re better suited to financial planning than competitive sport. That said, it was a great night and a timely reminder that we should do these things more often.
