Team News: Kicking Off 2025

We hope 2025 has started off well for you and that you received our New Year’s card – we thought it would make a nice change from the usual Christmas cards that fill up the mantelpiece in December! As ever, January has been a busy month for the team, with plenty of exciting updates to share.

A New Arrival
Georgia welcomed a beautiful baby girl, Maeve, just before Christmas. Both mum and baby are happy, healthy, and settling into their new routines. We’re thrilled for Georgia and her growing family and wish them all the best as they embark on this wonderful chapter.

Family Milestones
Gareth’s family have had a bustling start to the year. His eldest daughter graduated this month – a proud moment for the whole family – and has since made the big move ‘up North’ to York. Meanwhile, Seren, Gareth’s middle daughter, has been attending interviews for teacher training courses starting in September. It’s an exciting time for the Chalk household, with lots of change on the horizon.

Sheneen has also had a special family milestone to celebrate, as her son Callum turned 18 this month! A big birthday like this always brings a mixture of nostalgia and excitement for the future, and the family have been enjoying marking this important occasion.

Professional Progress
Joe, our trainee adviser, has been hard at work, too. He’s recently sat the final exam needed to achieve Chartered status – a significant milestone in his journey to becoming a full adviser. We’re all keeping our fingers crossed for his results, which should come through in February. Not one to rest on his laurels, Joe has already begun studying for advanced qualifications in Long Term Care advice and Financial Planning Practice. It’s inspiring to see his dedication and drive!
