Gareth recently celebrated his 50th birthday — a milestone that felt worth properly marking. The celebrations took on a distinctly family feel, with a get-together in Stirling bringing together siblings, nephews, nieces, and his mum. It was a good chance for everyone to spend some proper time together.

Alongside that, in a quieter contrast, when up there, Gareth and his wife managed to sneak away for a night in a smart hotel in Dunblane!

Elsewhere, Louise Hebson has been making the most of some well-earned time in the Spanish sunshine. By all accounts, it was a welcome break and a chance to recharge. Meanwhile Louise Watson stayed closer to home with a few days off after Easter, enjoying the UK weather!

Sheneen, meanwhile, continues her recovery following knee surgery. Progress is going well, and she’s hopeful of being back with us by the end of May. We’re looking forward to having her back in the fold.

It’s been a period of small but meaningful moments — time away, time together, and time to recover — all of which serve as a useful reminder that good planning isn’t just about the long term, but also about having the flexibility to enjoy life along the way
